*Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC or BE Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Temple, Texas. Advanced TEE certification is required.* *Position Highlights:* * The Anesthesiologist will practice cardiac and general anesthesiology, to include neuro, OB, thoracic, and regional anesthesia. No pediatric cases. * Join a large established team of anesthesiologists, residents, cardiac anesthesiology fellows, and CRNAs in a mixed anesthesia care team/solo staffing model. * The work schedule is Monday-Friday with weekend and evening call rotated equally. * Average 1 cardiac call per week- home call * Cardiac cases include Heart Transplantation, LVAD, ECMO, TAVR, Mitraclip, CABG (including OPCAB), and valves. * Additional earnings opportunities are available for working after hours and weekends. * Occasional cardiac anesthesia coverage will be provided at our affiliated hospital located 30 minutes away, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Waco. * Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Temple is a 636- bed acute care Level I trauma center and academic site for Baylor College of Medicine-Temple. * This is an employed position with a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package * Epic EMR system *Total Rewards: A competitive salary including a generous sign-on bonus and a nice benefit package is involved.
