USA Health and the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine seek Board Certified/Board Eligible General Anesthesiologists and fellowship-trained subspecialists to support our expanding clinical services, increasing surgical volume, and continued academic growth. Candidates interested in a full-time clinical faculty position or a combined clinical and educational leadership role are encouraged to apply.

Successful candidates will hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine. Academic rank and appointment track will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Faculty will practice across multiple USA Health hospitals while working alongside experienced surgeons and multidisciplinary teams in a collaborative academic environment.

Compensation & Benefits:
USA Health offers a highly competitive compensation package including:
- Base salary beginning at $540,000
- $75,000 Sign-On Bonus
- $20,000 annual fellowship stipend for eligible subspecialists maintaining board certification
- Additional compensation opportunities for extra shifts

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology (AOBA).
- Eligibility for Alabama medical licensure
