Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Anesthesia Discipline: CRNA Duration: 26 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Locum CRNA Opportunity – Penn State Health | Pennsylvania Facility: Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Competitive Pay Rate: $230–$260/hour travel & lodging Specialty: CRNA – Anesthesiology Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: Through 12/31/2026 Setting: Large Academic Level-1 Trauma Center EMR: Cerner ⏰ Schedule: Full-time coverage only Monday–Friday (4) 10-hour shifts weekly 6:30a–5p (Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri) 7a–5:30p on Thursdays No call, weekends, or guaranteed hours ✅ Required: Active Pennsylvania license (IMLC not accepted) ACLS, BLS & PALS Minimum 1 year CRNA experience Must be able to hit the ground running References required upfront Case Mix: General Orthopedics Trauma Plastics Neurosurgery Pediatrics (5) Endoscopy NORA Robotics Gynecology ENT ❌ No Hearts, OB, or Blocks Skills Required: General, spinal, epidural & regional anesthesia MAC anesthesia Airway management Ventilation management Arterial & central line placement Acute volume/BP management Practice Model: Medical direction model CRNA/Anesthesiologist ratio: 2:1 or 3:1 Large collaborative academic anesthesia team ✈️ Travel & Lodging: Travel and lodging available Overtime must be pre-approved Lunch unpaid; providers clock in/out accordingly Excellent long-term academic CRNA opportunity with diverse high-acuity case mix and supportive anesthesia team environment.
